Photo Collages, Kyan & Kady, Akira

The last few days have found me in my new office space working on more collages for Shawn Grimes Photography. The first was for a new client that we had in the studio a few weeks ago, Akira. We met her mother through Shawn’s mom and they are an adorable family! Akira was both a tremendous joy and a tiny challenge to work with, she was pretty fussy, as some babies are when they are not having their best day. Either way, she was still a treat to meet and have the privilege of photographing. Shawn was able to get some great photos of her alone and some wonderful photos with mom and dad also. The second collage that I worked on today was another for Kyan and Kady’s parents. You may remember that a few weeks ago I had posted the original collages I created for this wonderful family, well mom and dad wanted to see a collage of the two cuties together. This was my first time working with a template I created myself. I knew that mom really liked the circle and four picture style of the previous collages, so I figured it would be easy enough to repeat and easier to just replace photos than to start all over from scratch. Shawn was kind enough to save the original as a template for me and I was able to take it from there. I hope that this suits their needs and serves the purpose they were looking for.

I am having so much fun with these collages! I am learning a little more about Photoshop and how to use that fabulous program with each collage I complete. I am a little behind with starting my class at jessicasprague.com but am looking forward to being able to hone my skills a little more and be able to put those new skills to work in future collages and creations for Shawn!
